Lambert: No bid from Bristol City
Yeates' impressive displays last season are believed to have caught the attention of both Bristol City and Middlesbrough.
But Lambert has dismissed reports that City boss Gary Johnson has lodged a £300,000 bid for the 24-year-old Irishman.
He told BBC Essex: "There have been no bids for any players so far, it's all quiet.
"The way Mark plays means he's an eye catcher. If an offer came in which we felt was good for the club then it's something we'd have to look at."
