Keogh braced for bow

Andy Keogh could make his Bristol City debut against Swansea at Ashton Gate. Boss Keith Millen has bolstered his striking options with the loan signing of the Wales international from Wolves. Last season`s leading goal scorer Nicky Maynard is still on the road to recovery after summer knee surgery and Jonathan Stead recently underwent an ankle operation so Keogh, who recently had a loan spell at Swansea`s South Wales rivals Cardiff, will challenge David Clarkson and Brett Pitman for a starting role. Millen hopes to sign a second new player ahead of the game after agreeing a fee with Scunthorpe for midfielder Martyn Woolford. He will come into contention if the deal can be completed before Monday`s 11pm transfer deadline. Millen could be short of options in defence with Christian Ribeiro (knee), Lewin Nyatanga (Achilles), Nicky Hunt (hamstring) and James Wilson (knee) all recently receiving treatment.
