Marvin Elliott was the subject of much speculation throughout January and the Robins reportedly rejected an offer for the midfielder from Championship rivals Wolves. Nottingham Forest were also rebuffed when they bid for striker Dele Adebola at the weekend.[LNB]"I am pleased we have kept all our players. I said I'd like to keep this group of lads here and the chairman (Steve Lansdown) backed me on that, which is nice. Whenever we have to turn another club down, we will turn them down," said Johnson.[LNB]"The chairman is looking to build for the future and is trying to move the club on to the next level. He is not necessarily looking to get money in, unless it is for someone who no longer figures in our plans."[LNB]An outspoken critic of the transfer window, Johnson added: "Every manager hates it. It makes me feel like going away and switching my phone off.[LNB]"There is speculation all over the place. It disturbs people mentally and every player wants to know if there have been any offers for him and, if not, why not. Either way, you have a problem."[LNB][LNB]
