The centre-back had already been booked when he scythed down Henri Lansbury on 68 minutes to leave his side a man down as they tried to protect a 2-1 lead.[LNB]Watford made their pressure count deep into stoppage time when John Eustace touched home a shot from close range to leave Johnson rueing his side's habit of conceding late on.[LNB]"Lewin's tackle was unprofessional and I've spoken to him about it in the dressing room," said Johnson.[LNB]"He's a good young player, but he has to learn from that mistake because it was the last thing we needed.[LNB]"Again we have let in a last-gasp equaliser and feel like we have lost, rather than drawn. I don't know what more we can do except to keep drilling the players on how to clear their lines.[LNB]"At the moment when the stoppage time board goes up it seems to create a siege mentality and we cannot hold onto the ball. It has cost us so many points this season and I'm more than frustrated by it."[LNB]Lansbury was stretchered off as a result of Nyatanga's tackle and the midfield player, on-loan from Arsenal, faces a scan in the next couple of days.[LNB]Watford manager Malky Mackay said: "It's a nasty ankle injury. But we've already opened talks with Arsenal about extending the lad's stay with us and I don't expect that decision to be affected.[LNB]"We have a young side and I'm very proud of the way they kept battling right up until the final whistle.[LNB]"City's goalkeeper has pulled off a string of fine saves in the second half and I was starting to think it just wasn't going to be our day.[LNB]"But we knew of their tendency to let in late goals so when five minutes of stoppage time was signalled I felt we still had every chance."[LNB]Danny Haynes fired City in front against the run of play on 38 minutes with a fierce volley from David Clarkson's cross.[LNB]But five minutes later a poor defensive header from Jamie McAllister presented Tom Cleverley with the chance to shoot Watford level from 12 yards.[LNB]Paul Hartley restored City's advantage just before the break with a superb curling free-kick from 30 yards that gave Scott Loach no chance.[LNB]Both sides had goals disallowed. Heidar Helguson's first-half volley for Watford was ruled out for offside, while Clarkson also had his celebrations cut short by a flag after shooting home from Nicky Maynard's 50th minute pass.[LNB]City keeper Dean Gerken protected his side's lead for much of the second half, making brilliant saves from Helguson and Don Cowie as the visitors built increasing pressure before Eustace's leveller.[LNB][LNB][LNB]
