David James is happy at Bristol City despite the surprise resignation of manager Steve Coppell. The former Reading boss quit the Championship club last week after only 112 days in charge. Coppell was a key factor in persuading James to sign for City but the England keeper insists he looking forward to working under new boss Keith Millen. "I was surprised (by Coppell`s departure) but that`s football," James told the club`s official website. "Steve Coppell was a factor in me joining, as I said at the press conference, but he wasn`t the only reason. "I`m still enjoying it at Bristol City and I spoke with Keith Millen on Thursday to find out where he was going to go and it was all very positive, very good. "The situation with Keith is a new one with the inexperience he`s got but I should be alright, I`ve got a new manager to impress now."
