Hammers Striker Reveals City Snub
West Ham striker Freddie Sears has revealed that he turned down the chance of joining City in favour of a loan move to Coventry City The 20-year-old forward has told the Coventry Telegraph that he was wanted by a host of clubs, including City, before deciding on a season long loan deal at The Ricoh Arena in January. "There were a few others in for me," he said. "Bristol City came in last minute after I had spoken to Chris Coleman but as soon as Coventry were mentioned I told the gaffer I wanted to go."
