Foxes stunned by rampant Robins

The visitors broke the deadlock in the 19th minute of the Championship clash when a fine individual effort from Ivan Sproule beat Foxes keeper Dean Gerken.[LNB]Cole Skuse doubled the Robins' lead when he blasted in unmarked from long range 10 minutes later. Evander Sno then slotted in a third 14 minutes from time before substitute Matty Fryatt grabbed a last-gasp consolation after Martyn Waghorn had seen red.[LNB]Nigel Pearson made four changes from the Foxes' 5-1 defeat at Nottingham Forest as Robbie Neilson, Bruno Berner, Yann Kermorgant and Fryatt made way for Michael Morrison, Ryan McGivern, Dany N'Guessan and Paul Gallagher.[LNB]Gary Johnson made two changes to the Robins side that drew 0-0 with Ipswich on Saturday with Bradley Orr and Sproule replacing Marvin Elliott and Lee Johnson.[LNB]The home side began positively but the first meaningful chance of the match fell to Bristol's Nicky Maynard who could only direct his shot wide of the post.[LNB]Minutes later, N'Guessan had a great chance to give his side the lead when Waghorn twisted and turned his way through the Bristol defence to find N'Guessan who saw his deflected effort cut out by Orr.[LNB]Leicester continued to press when Waghorn saw a penalty shout waved away when it had looked like he was brought down by goalkeeper Gerken.[LNB]The Robins responded and went in front when the lively Sproule picked the ball up on the half-way line and went on a pulsating run, jinking his way past five Foxes players, to blast the ball home from the edge of the area in the 19th minute.[LNB]An unmarked Skuse then launched an unstoppable 25-yard drive beyond Chris Weale in the 29th minute.[LNB]It could have got a lot worse for Leicester minutes before the break when Maynard saw his goalbound effort cleared away.[LNB]Leicester's best threat came from Waghorn whose industrious play deserved a goal minutes after the restart but his right-footed drive went inches over the bar.[LNB]Pearson brought on Fryatt, who had been dropped to the bench for the first time this season, in a bid to get back into the game and he could have got his name on the scoresheet with his first touch when he brought a good save from Gerken.[LNB]Seconds after the home side had yet another penalty shout waved away, Bristol countered and when Skuse found Sno unmarked he poked home to secure the rout in the 76th minute.[LNB]Waghorn was then shown a straight red card for a foul on Jamie McAllister before Fryatt grabbed a late consolation when he thundered in after latching onto the end of a long goal-kick from Chris Weale in what proved to be virtually the last kick of the game.[LNB][LNB]
