Elliott on Robins comeback trail
The 24-year-old made a surprise return from the problem that has kept him out since the end of January as a late substitute in the Robins' league defeat at QPR at the weekend.
Elliott will step up his return against Forest Green at Ashton Gate on Tuesday afternoon as City boss Gary Johnson tries to give last season's young player of the year some much-needed match practice ahead of the resumption of the Championship campaign on April 4.
"Marvin is the type of player who needs to be playing matches," Johnson told the club's official website.
"We got him involved on Saturday but what he really needs at the moment is sharp training and match practice, so the more games we can get him involved in the better."
