Coppell: We were our own worst enemy

16 July 2010 11:03
Boss Steve Coppell admitted Bristol City were their own worst enemy during the heavy pre-season defeat to Helsingborgs. The Swedish league leaders proved too much for City who slipped to a 4-0 loss in the second friendly of their Scandinavian tour. Coppell`s side missed a penalty and had two goals ruled out but he said: "We were masters of our own demise. Their goals were products of our own deficiencies." He added: "We have one more game left against Vallen on Saturday and we will continue to mix it around in terms of selection. We won't look to overload the players."
