City chief hails 'huge step forward'
City had their plans to move to a new site in the Ashton Vale area of the city recommended for approval by the council on Wednesday.[LNB]Sainsbury's are now planning to build a store on the site of Ashton Gate - City's current home - making extra funds available to finance the move.[LNB]"This is a win-win for the local community, for the club, as well as for Bristol as whole," City chief executive Colin Sexstone said.[LNB]"This is a huge step forward in the club's plans. Moving Sainsbury's will help generate significant funds to build the new stadium."[LNB][LNB]
