Lansdown's ambitious plan is to start work on a new Stadium by 2013, which could be part of a possible 2018 World Cup bid when completed. Plans for the stadium are not finalised as complications could arise over planning permission and naming rights.[LNB]But Lansdown is remaining positive. He said: "We are well on target, things are going on the right lines and I'm confident we'll get there.[LNB]"Planning for a new stadium is vital - it will give us a new start. We've been in here for a hundred odd years but you get a little bit stale with that that.[LNB]"Ashton Gate's been a great place, but the new stadium with all the benefits it will bring to us with the extra capacity, extra infrastructure - we can build on that and make ourselves into a bigger and hopefully better club."[LNB][LNB]
