Carey on Louis, says Steve
Louis Carey will continue as Bristol City's captain for the forthcoming season.
Manager Steve Coppell has confirmed the defender will retain the armband despite being sidelined throughout pre-season due to a freak heel injury.
"Louis Carey is the captain of this club and I don't see any reason for that to change," said Coppell.
"The sad thing is I haven't been able to see him pull on a pair of boots yet because of the injury he suffered carrying a barbeque, but hopefully he's not too far away.
"He's not a table-thumper but he's a leader and has the respect of the players."
