Gary O'Neil still on the sidelines for Bristol City

Bristol City will again be without experienced midfielder Gary O'Neil against Wolves as they look to bounce back from Tuesday's 5-0 mauling at Preston - a result which saw Robins players offer to refund the ticket cost for the 312 travelling fans.

O'Neill suffered a leg injury during last Saturday's loss at Brentford and City boss Lee Johnson has said the 33-year-old may be out for up to six weeks.

Bosnia-Herzegovina striker Milan Djuric is also absent once more for relegation-fighting City but could be available for the following week's visit of QPR.

It remains to be seen if Johnson will make drastic changes following the Deepdale thrashing or keep faith with the same XI - 10 of whom started when City stunned high-flying Huddersfield 4-0 in their last match at Ashton Gate.

Wolves will check on top scorer Helder Costa (ankle) ahead of their trip.

The winger was injured in the warm-up before Paul Lambert's side's 1-0 victory over Nottingham Forest on Tuesday and he will be assessed.

Nouha Dicko took the 23-year-old's place in the starting line-up and scored the game's only goal to help Wolves to their fifth straight win.

Meanwhile, injured goalkeeper Carl Ikeme remains unavailable for selection.
