Reid worry for Robins

Bobby Reid is a major doubt for Bristol City's home clash with Stevenage.

The midfielder hobbled off in the first half of the Boxing Day victory over Walsall with a calf injury and is unlikely to recover in time for Boro's visit.

Fellow midfielder Marlon Pack is definitely out after he picked up his fifth yellow card of the season, although Robins manager Steve Cotterill can call upon right-back Brendan Moloney after he completed a one-match ban of his own.

The win over the Saddlers hauled Cotterill's side off the foot of Sky Bet League One and they could escape the relegation zone with another success.

Stevenage boss Graham Westley is weighing up changes.

Boro were thumped 4-0 at Colchester on Boxing Day and afterwards Westley slammed his players for a "lack of togetherness".

Veteran goalkeeper Chris Day could be under pressure after a couple of errors while Peter Hartley will return at left-back if he can shake off a knock.

Marcus Haber could be added to the squad having recently returned from a loan spell at Notts County, but fellow striker Darius Charles is still recovering from an ankle injury.
