Robins stretched Bristol City boss Derek McInnes will dive back into the emergency loan market in an effort to bolster his defence ahead of their clash with Millwall. City's defence suffered another serious setback during Saturday's defeat to Leeds with two more casualties at the back. Loan signing George Elokobi was ruled out for the season just 48 hours after joining from Championship rivals Wolves. The Cameroonian was stretchered off after 43 minutes after fracturing and dislocating his ankle on his Robins debut. McInnes' problems increased when Elokobi's replacement, Joe Bryan, suffered concussion after a clash of heads with Rodolph Austin. The 19-year-old is rated extremely doubtful, leaving the City boss desperately short of options on the left side of defence. Richard Foster was forced to fill the position for a third time on Saturday and may deputise again, while first choice left-back Greg Cunningham isn't expected to return until November as he continues to recover from a ruptured ankle tendon. Millwall skipper Paul Robinson is a doubt. The defender, who missed the start of the season after hernia surgery and then picked up an ankle injury upon his return, had to come off at half-time against Burnley on Saturday with a groin problem. Fellow centre-half Karleigh Osborne could return to the side after he sat out the 2-2 draw at Turf Moor with a knock. Winger Chris Taylor will also be back in the squad after suspension and full-back Jack Smith could start after his return as a substitute on Saturday following a thigh strain. Midfielder Tamika Mkandawire was on the bench for the first time in almost a year following knee surgery and should travel again but winger Liam Feeney (ankle) and striker John Marquis (thigh) are out.
