Double striker boost for Robins

Bristol City's attacking options for the home clash with Huddersfield have been boosted by the return to training of two strikers.

Ryan Taylor and Jon Stead have come through their sessions this week and have declared themselves fit to face the Terriers at Ashton Gate as Bristol City look for their first win since March 9.

Liam Fontaine and Stephen Pearson both missed the trip to Hull last Friday with ankle injuries and could be absent again while Paul Anderson and Brian Howard are pushing for starts.

Youngsters Wes Burns and Toby Ajala will both be involved once more while Albert Adomah is expected to start after his man-of-the-match display at the KC Stadium.

Head coach Sean O'Driscoll knows the visitors need something from this match in their fight against survival and he could name the same line-up that earned a point live on Sky Sports.

Huddersfield will be without injured midfielder Neil Danns.

Danns, an unused substitute in last week's home win over Millwall, is struggling with a toe injury.

Manager Mark Robins has no other new injury or suspension worries, but winger Danny Ward remains sidelined with a groin injury, which has kept him out of the last four matches, and midfielder Anton Robinson is looking to return to fitness in time for next season after rupturing his anterior cruciate ligament.

Defenders Paul Dixon and Murray Wallace, midfielder Keith Southern and strikers Lee Novak and Alan Lee are all in contention.

Huddersfield, three points above the relegation zone, are chasing back-to-back wins that would keep them out of the bottom three.
