Aaron Wilbraham ready to return for Robins

Club captain Aaron Wilbraham is poised to return to the Bristol City squad for Derby's visit to Ashton Gate.

The veteran striker has missed the last two games with a calf complaint, but he has trained in the last two days and will be added to the squad as the Robins attempt to secure their Sky Bet Championship status.

Adam Matthews (hamstring) and Scott Golbourne (leg) will be assessed for injuries picked up in Saturday's 1-1 draw at Brentford.

Teenage goalkeeper Max O'Leary will again provide cover on the bench for Richard O'Donnell with Frank Fielding (ankle) ruled out for the season.

Derby will have Marcus Olsson available again as they look to cement their place in the play-offs.

The versatile Jamie Hanson filled in at left-back against Charlton on Saturday as Olsson missed the 1-0 win at The Valley through illness but the Sweden international is now over the bug.

However, Bradley Johnson has been ruled out for a third game in a row due to a knee injury. Rams boss Darren Wassall hopes to have him back in contention for the lunchtime kick-off at home to top-six rivals Sheffield Wednesday at the weekend.

Fellow midfielder Jeff Hendrick also remains sidelined by a thigh problem while goalkeeper Lee Grant is recovering from groin surgery.
