Bristol City set to sign Collis

The 28-year-old has been a free agent since his contract with Crewe was terminated by mutual consent on New Year's Day.[LNB]Since then, Collis, who worked with City boss Gary Johnson at Yeovil between 2002 and 2006, has been training with the Ashton Gate club in the hope of securing a contract.[LNB]"Steve contacted us after leaving Crewe and asked if he could come training and he's been with us a few weeks now," Johnson told the club's official website.[LNB]"Not a lot of people are aware of his situation and he's sneaked under the radar to an extent.[LNB]"We've got ourselves a very good keeper and he will provide strong competition for Dean Gerken."[LNB][LNB]
