Basso looks set to fly Robins' nest

Basso, whose current deal expires in the summer, has gone down the pecking order at Ashton Gate following his refusal to sign a new deal.[LNB]The 34-year-old Brazilian, who was named the club's player of the season last term, has now found himself playing second fiddle to regular number one Dean Gerken throughout the first half of the campaign.[LNB]Basso's agent, John Halliwell, told Sky Sports: "Bristol City have informed us they could be willing to let Adriano leave on a free transfer in this transfer window under the right circumstances[LNB]"As his contract is up at the end of the season they could consider letting him go this month."[LNB][LNB]
