Baggies target Robins star Skuse

Skuse has been a first-team regular for the Robins this season, making 22 Championship starts and scoring two goals, but he is out of contract at Ashton Gate at the end of the season. The 22-year-old central midfielder, who has also attracted interest from promotion-chasing Reading, seems ready to leave Bristol but cannot move as a free agent as he is under 24, meaning he would command a transfer fee. Baggies boss Tony Mowbray is also looking to bolster his goalkeeping options and has targeted a move for former Hibernian stopper David Grof. The 19-year-old is now a free agent after quitting the Scottish Premier League club by mutual consent last week. Mowbray signed Grof when he was in charge at Easter Road and had him on trial at The Hawthorns earlier this season.
