The defender was shown a straight red card following a clumsy challenge on Leeds' Max Gradel on Saturday and he will sit out the next four games, so Adam El-Abd is likely to take his place in the starting XI. Only a last-minute Robert Snodgrass strike stopped the Seagulls from taking all three points away from Elland Road after Glenn Murray had given Brighton a 77th minute lead. Veteran striker Nicky Forster was named on the bench at the weekend following a reported argument with Poyet, which has seen him sit out the past four matches, and it remains to be seen whether he will be handed a starting role. Defender Colin Hawkins remains the only definite absentee following a heel operation. Brighton remain undefeated on the road in their last six away league outings, collecting two wins and four draws.
