Teacher held over indecent images

An assistant head teacher at a Brighton school has been questioned by police on suspicion of possessing indecent images of children.Parents of pupils at Dorothy Stringer School were sent letters telling them Ken Browne had been removed from his post following the allegations. The letter from chair of governors Reg Hook said the school was co-operating with the investigation. Sussex Police said Mr Browne, 59, had been bailed until 25 November.
