Seagulls swoop for Davies

Brighton & Hove Albion have signed Nottingham Forest winger Arron Davies on loan until the end of the year.

Twenty-five-year-old Davies arrives at the Withdean as a replacement for Mark Wright, who has moved on to Bristol Rovers for an undisclosed fee.

Albion boss Russell Slade told the club's official website: "It's very good business for us.

"Mark Wright has come and given his best for the club, and has struggled to settle in off the field and it makes sense for both parties for us to allow him move on with our best wishes.

"Arron is a more than adequate replacement for Wrighty. He can play on either wing or as an attacking midfielder."
