Seagulls fear over strikers
03 Apr 2009 - 07:09:35
Brighton & Hove Albion's survival hopes have been dented following the news that Nicky Forster and Glenn Murray may not play again this season.
Forster is struggling with an ongoing knee problem, while a stomach muscle injury is currently keeping Murray on the sidelines.
"Murray and Forster are going to be lucky if they play any more football for us this season," admitted manager Russell Slade.
"That's a problem for us, but we've got strikers in the form of Craig Davies and Lloyd Owusu who are going to have to step up to the plate and deliver for us."
However, Slade has revealed that former loan striker Calvin Andrew could return to the League One strugglers from Crystal Palace after shrugging off a hamstring strain.
