Seagulls boss eyes Leeds scalp

A goal in each half from skipper Andrew Crofts and winger Elliott Bennett clinched a home tie against Rushden & Diamonds in the second round and maintained Poyet's winning start since he replaced Russell Slade. Brighton began Poyet's reign with a 3-1 success at Southampton and the Uruguayan is anxious his men give another good account of themselves when table-topping Leeds visit Withdean Stadium on Saturday. "At the moment Leeds are the best side in our league and we will need to recover quickly before facing them," said Poyet. "It'll be a really strange feeling to face Leeds so quickly but it's a great opportunity."
