Poyet satisfied with point
Brighton manager Gus Poyet was happy to take a point and put the match behind him after the League One leaders were held to a goalless draw at Leyton Orient. When these sides met at the beginning of the year the Seagulls thrashed their rivals by five goals, but there was never danger of a repeat as both sets of strikers struggled to make an impact.Poyet said: "It was not one of our better performances and on this occasion we will take our point and run."In all honesty, the game did not have much to commend it technically with both sides struggling to put passes together. Only one chance was created by each side but the important thing is that we did not lose."I can't really put my finger on what was wrong but the pitch certainly didn't help - players seemed to have great difficulty at times keeping their bounce."But at the same time I have to give credit to Orient. They proved themselves a hard-working side and kept to a plan to frustrate us."
