Poyet hails perfect response

Brighton boss Gus Poyet was pleased to see his side bounce back from their defeat at Bournemouth with a 2-0 victory against Colchester.Goals in each half by Inigo Calderon and substitute Craig Noone secured the win before United had defender Pat Baldwin sent off late in the game for two bookable offences. The win extended Brighton's lead at the top of League One to six points, and Poyet said: "The players understood what they did wrong last Saturday and were aggressive and quick."Even if we were not fantastic I'm delighted, and the defence delivered the clean sheet I wanted."Poyet was delighted with the impact of Noone, and added: "We got the second goal we deserved and the goal will be a real lift for Noone."It's nice to have those options with him coming off the bench, and he went inside to score a great goal with his right foot."
