Dean made his way to pro football by working his way through the youth team at Brighton. He made his debut for the first team in december 2000 and helped the team to defeat Cardiff in the LDV trophy. He has gained experience playing for Aldershot and Leyton Orient on loan from Brighton. Dean is now a regular on Brighton's first team and hopes to push his career forward and help the team climb the league table.
