An Elliott Bennett wonderstrike set Brighton on their way to a comfortable win over fellow strugglers Oldham.Pawel Abbott came close for the Latics in the first half but his header from six yards out was off target. Bennett put Brighton in the driving seat with an angled 20-yard drive and keeper Peter Brezovan denied Abbott and Chris Taylor to preserve the lead.
