    Murray faces race against time

    09 Dec 2008 - 09:42:23

Brighton boss Micky Adams hopes Glenn Murray will be fit enough to feature in Friday's League One clash with MK Dons.

The striker has made a rapid recovery from the minor ankle problem which forced him to be substituted during Saturday's game at Oldham Athletic.

Adams told the Seagulls' official website: "The ankle has settled down. It isn't as bad as first feared and we're hopeful of having Glenn for Friday."

Meanwhile, Albion have also been boosted by the news that Kerry Mayo is expected to return to training next week, while Gary Hart should be back in action in late January.

Both players are recovering from knee injuries as is David Livermore, who should return to action in early 2009.
