McNulty adds to Brighton woe

Brighton & Hove Albion expect defender Jim McNulty to be out of action for "some time" with a kidney problem.

The 24-year-old full-back was taken to hospital after suffering the injury during the second half of Saturday's 4-0 defeat by Crewe Alexandra.

The news concerning McNulty is a further blow for the managerless Seagulls.

Albion are currently without 11 injured first-team players and are hoping to sign some loan cover ahead of Tuesday's trip to Bristol Rovers.
