Keeper Smith makes Brighton move

Brighton have signed 26-year-old former Motherwell goalkeeper Graeme Smith for two years on a free transfer. Boss Russell Slade said: "He has good pedigree, has been number one for Motherwell in the SPL for two seasons and has featured in the Uefa Cup." Smith played over 100 league games for Motherwell and is manager Russell Slade's fifth signing of the summer. Smith, a former keeper at Rangers, will rival Michel Kuipers for the first-team spot.
