Johnson enjoys dream debut

Brighton & Hove Albion loanee Bradley Johnson was a happy man after marking his Seagulls debut with two goals in the 3-2 victory at home to Leicester City.

The 21-year-old midfielder only joined Albion earlier on Tuesday from Leeds United, but made an immediate impact against the Foxes.

He told The Argus: "It is the first time I have ever scored two goals in a game. I scored a few in games for Northampton but, every time I got one, I was then hitting the post or the crossbar and it just wasn't happening.

"Thankfully, this time it did, on my debut as well.

"All I wanted was to get a good 90 minutes under my belt and if I hadn't scored I would still have been happy with a good performance, but I've scored two goals and I'm over the moon.

"I think I gelled in well and we got a good result. Micky Adams knows what I can do and he told me to shoot whenever I could."
