Frutos ends Seagulls stay

Brighton & Hove Albion have parted company with French winger Alex Frutos by mutual consent. The 25-year-old moved to the Withdean Stadium from Metz two years ago but made only 36 starts for the Seagulls and spent most of last season on the substitute's bench. Brighton boss Dean Wilkins told the club's official website: "Unfortunately things haven't worked out as either we or Alex had hoped, and the decision was reached amicably and made in the best interests of both the club and the player. "I would like to thank Alex for his efforts during his time here and wish him all the best for his future career."
