Brighton & Hove Albion striker Nicky Forster has been placed on the transfer list by manager Gus Poyet.
Forster has been in impressive goal scoring form this season for the struggling Seagulls and he has notched 15 goals in 30 games so far.
The 36-year-old's contract expires in the summer and a new one has so far not been offered new terms and this irks the former Gillingham, Brentford, Birminigham City, Reading and Ipswich Town man.
He joined the south coast side from Hull City in a £75,000 deal in June 2007.
Speaking to The Argus, he said: "It has been mutually agreed that I have been placed on the transfer list, due to the fact there is no contract in the offing.
"From a personal point of view it is with great regret that this outcome has been reached, as I have enjoyed my time with Brighton and would have liked nothing more than to extend my stay."
