Byes are announced for JP Trophy

The Football League has announced the 16 teams to receive byes for the first round of the Johnstone's Paint Trophy. The eight northern teams to receive byes are Grimsby, Hartlepool, Leeds, Macclesfield, Notts County, Port Vale, Shrewsbury and Tranmere. Byes also go to Aldershot, Brighton, Charlton, Exeter, Leyton Orient, Southampton, Southend and Swindon.
