Buckley back for play-off hopefuls

Will Buckley returns to the Brighton squad for the visit of Huddersfield.

The winger returned to training on Wednesday after missing last weekend's 1-0 win over Burnley through illness.

But the Seagulls will still be without midfield duo Andrew Crofts and Liam Bridcutt.

Crofts has yet to recover from a hamstring injury and Bridcutt completes a two-match ban for collecting 10 yellow cards this season.

Boss Gus Poyet must decide whether to recall fit-again skipper Gordon Greer or stick with Adam El-Abd and Matt Upson in central defence.

Greer recovered from a hamstring injury in time to face Burnley but started on the bench before making a late appearance as a substitute.

Striker Will Hoskins is still out with a knee injury.

Huddersfield midfielder Oscar Gobern is expected to be available for the game after he was replaced in midweek due to a clash of heads.

Gobern, making his first start since August following a ruptured Achilles tendon, was forced off during Tuesday night's win over Burnley after colliding with team-mate James Vaughan and receiving a bang on the nose.

But Gobern has not suffered a break and manager Mark Robins must decide whether to start with the 22-year-old again or stick with Scott Arfield, who replaced him at Turf Moor.

Robins has no other new injury or suspension problems, but is still without injured trio Danny Ward (broken metatarsal), Jermaine Beckford (hamstring) and Keith Southern (Achilles).

Defenders Jack Hunt and Joel Lynch, midfielder Oliver Norwood, plus striker Alan Lee are among those pushing for recalls as Town chase back-to-back wins for the first time since October.
