Brighton and Dixon part company

Striker Jonny Dixon has left Brighton by mutual consent after agreeing a financial settlement with the club. The 25-year-old joined the Seagulls in January 2008 from Aldershot Town for £56,000 but has struggled to break into Russell Slade's first team. He has started only two games and made just three substitute appearances since making the move to Withdean Stadium.
