Albion's injury woes worsen
02 Dec 2008 - 13:20:28
Brighton's injury problems show no sign of improving after Matt Richards and Michels Kuipers picked up niggles in training.
Left-back Richards sustained a twisted ankle while goalkeeper Kuipers damaged a finger which is severely swollen.
The Seagulls already know they will be without David Livermore until next month at the earliest after the former Hull City midfielder was forced to have cartilage surgery last week.
Albion boss Micky Adams told The Argus: "David's had a history throughout his career of chronic knee problems but he hasn't missed a day's training since he's been here.
"His knee's been a bit puffy for a while and it got to the stage where he had to have something done."
Meanwhile, Kerry Mayo has resumed light training after damaging knee ligaments two months ago during a loan spell at Lewes.
