Albion accept Fraser ban

Brighton & Hove Albion have ruled out an appeal against Tommy Fraser's sending-off in the 2-0 defeat by Bristol City at the weekend.

Fraser was ordered off eight minutes from times for trampling on Robins goalkeeper Adriano Basso, having only come on as a substitute just past the hour mark.

Seagulls boss Dean Wilkins told The Argus: "We won't be appealing. It was harsh but you can see why it has been given.

"Tommy has to learn from it. Part of the problem in many respects is that the younger players are having to learn in a pressurised environment in the first team.

"It was one of those things that happen when you are young and inexperienced."
