Brighton & Hove Albion boss Dean Wilkins was desperately unhappy at the performance of referee Darren Deadman in the Seagulls' 2-1 defeat at Huddersfield Town.
Wilkins was particularly incensed by the award of a late penalty which resulted in the Terriers' winning goal.
He told The Argus: "I do not really like complaining about referees but I thought he was a joke. Chris Brandon told our players it wasn't a penalty, that he dived, which says it all really.
"It was just about every decision. In the first half Glenn Murray was pushed in the back two or three times after he turned the centre-half, but he did not do a thing about it.
"I am just baffled by some of the things that went on."
