Brighton new boy Gifton Noel-Williams has backed boss Mark McGhee's claims that they have what it takes to stay in the Championship this season.
Noel-Williams, who joined the Seagulls from Burnley last week and scored on his debut in the 1-1 draw against Luton Town, has set his sights on survival and realises that this weekend's clash with fellow strugglers Millwall at The Den is a must-win encounter.
He said: "We've got huge games against Millwall and Sheffield Wednesday coming up and if we don't win them then that is probably the end of the road for us, but no-one in the changing room has given up yet.
"There is a good team spirit here and everyone is up for Saturday."
Albion are nine points adrift of Sheffield Wednesday in the final safety position and McGhee has also pin-pointed a maximum haul from games against the Owls and the Lions.
He told the Argus: "It's no time to chuck the towel in yet.
"If we lose the next two games then by all means. But it will look and feel a whole lot different on Saturday night if we have beaten Millwall and we've still got Sheffield Wednesday to play, regardless of their result."
