Seagulls put deal on hold

Brighton and Hove Albion have put a move for George O'Callaghan on hold after failing to agree personal terms with the Ipswich Town midfielder.
The Seagulls were given permission to talk to the 27-year-old by the Championship club on Wednesday, but the Irish midfielder has failed to agree terms on a permanent transfer to the Withdean.
O'Callaghan joined Ipswich from Cork City in January but has made only 12 first team appearances.
"We have accepted an offer from Brighton for George and he and his representative have had discussions with Brighton but no agreement has been reached so far," Town's chief executive Derek Bowden told the club's official website.
"It's possible both parties will talk again before the transfer window closes."
