Brighton and Hove Albion manager Dean Wilkins has tempted Ipswich Town defender Matt Richards to return to the Withdean Stadium on loan until the end of the season.
The 23-year-old, who has made more than 150 first-team appearances for Ipswich, played 19 games for the Seagulls during a loan spell on the South Coast in the first half of this season.
Richards returned to Portman Road last month but has now decided his immediate future will best be served with Wilkins' side.
The Brighton boss told the club's official website: "I'm delighted Matt's chosen to return. He played an important part in our ten-game unbeaten run before Christmas.
"The supporters are obviously well aware of Matt and I'm sure they'll be equally delighted to see him return."
