Mark McGhee has quit his role as manager at Brighton and Hove Albion, according to reports.
It appears the former Reading, Leicester, Wolves and Millwall boss, who took over at the Withdean Stadium in October 2003, has left the club after a stuttering start to the new League One season left his side 17th in the table.
McGhee has managed just 40 wins in 139 games at the helm of the Seagulls, during which time the side were relegated from the Championship last season.
The club are due to make a formal announcement later on Friday.
