Brighton & Hove Albion have been handed a major injury blow with the news that Joel Lynch faces two months on the sidelines with a fractured leg.
The 19-year-old midfielder fractured his fibula during last week's 3-0 victory over Millwall and won't play again until at least November.
"Joel twisted his knee as he went to clear the ball," physio Malcolm Stuart told the club's official website.
"He won't be going into plaster, but he'll be out for between six and eight weeks.
"He won't need surgery, it's just a matter of time and rehabilitation."
