Knight: McGhee had to go

Brighton chairman Dick Knight claims he does not have anybody in line to replace outgoing boss Mark McGhee.
The Scot parted company with the Seagulls following a near three-year spell in charge at the Withdean Stadium after the club's disappointing start to the League One campaign.
Knight revealed he stuck by McGhee in the summer when the knives were out for him following Brighton's relegation from the Championship.
But, after the manager found it difficult to bolster the club's ranks in the summer transfer window and watched his side slip to 17th place in the table, it was deemed time for him to go.
Knight told the club's official website: "It has been difficult to attract players to the club in the last few months - but it hasn't really been about money.
"Mark has had opportunities, but we haven't been able to bring players in, and I think that a change of manager will rejuvenate that side of it.
"This wasn't done with rancour, and Mark accepted it. At the end of May, I supported him when there were other factions on the board who wanted him to go. I've given him his chance, but it hasn't worked out.
"I don't have any replacements immediately in mind - I've one or two people at the back of my mind, but it's too early for those decisions."
