Henderson request rejected

Brighton & Hove Albion's caretaker boss Dean Wilkins has rejected a transfer request from goalkeeper Wayne Henderson.
The Irishman angered club officials by asking for a move shortly after manager Mark McGhee's departure and was left out of the squad for the 2-2 draw with Bournemouth in midweek.
Wilkins has now decided against allowing Henderson to leave, but has no plans to recall the 22-year-old to his squad for Saturday's clash with Leyton Orient.
He told the club's official website: "His transfer request has been denied after discussions between myself, Dean White, and the chairman. The board are aware of it as well.
"I thought Wayne's timing was very inappropriate. That was the reason for leaving him out of the squad completely and that's how it is at the moment."
