Brighton's veteran striker Nicky Forster believes he will be fit enough to return to action in this weekend's League One clash with Hartlepool United.
The 34-year-old missed the 2-1 victory at Luton Town with a knee ligament injury, but is poised to play on Saturday and attempt to add to his 19-goal haul for the season.
He told the Brighton Argus: "I'm stepping up my training and I should be back fully involved by Friday.
"I just tweaked the medial ligament in my right knee last Friday. We had a little five-a-side right at the end of the session and that was when it happened.
"I knew on Friday evening I wouldn't be involved but I still wanted to go and be a part of things.
"We've got three games left and, with a bit of luck, I'll be fit for them. If I can get to the 20-goal mark this season I'll be delighted. I'd have taken at that at the beginning of the season."
