El-Abd faces spell on sidelines

The 20-year-old right-back was taken to hospital after being stretchered off the pitch but a scan at Medway Hospital revealed that nothing was broken.

A relieved Seagulls boss Mark McGhee told the club's official website: "We've got the results back and they showed that Adam had just bruised ligaments in his ankle.

"It will be about six weeks before we will have him back."
